My Schedule

pencils.jpg (2000×1334)
I have seven classes during the day and seven paragraphs, so one paragraph per class. I will also go in order of which classes I have first and stuff. First, I go to Mr.Sutton for Advanced Math. Right now we are learning about cubes and volume and shapes and stuff. I have a C in that class, I don't even know why. It seems like everybody has at least a C in Math, but Advanced Math is hard and boring. We write a lot of notes and watch other people do the work on the board. I am always tired during math and am never awake fully that time in the morning.

After that class I have a class pretty much everyone enjoys. Core 2, Advanced Language Arts. Mrs. Morris is so fun and she is also really nice. Unlike other teachers she always thinks of interesting ways to do things. WE do projects and games, like we just finished a family tree poster. That class always goes by fats, unless you tick her off. A lot of my friends are also in that class and people are always making jokes and having fun, but working.

After that I go to Elective One, Digital Media. Actually Digital Media (dm) is where I am sitting here writing blogs. Mrs. Haggerty is my DM teacher and her room is always freezing. Everyday we watch CNN student news and write a summary and analysis. After that we use the chrome books to blog, or type, depending on where we are on our path. Sometimes the laptops are not charged or working so we have to do something else. I like DM because I can relax and focus on what I am writing.
music-notes-background-bickstock-photo3.jpg (590×299)After DM I have choir which is my second elective. Mrs.Urban is my choir teacher or conductor. I wasn't in choir last semester and each semester we have two concerts. We dress up fancy in black and white. Not only do we preform we watch the other grade level choirs sing too. Our songs for this concert are "What a Wonderful World", "Seasons of Love", and "Counting Stars", but she might add another song. We got to pick "Counting Stars" and might get to play the drums with it. We got a new student in choir today, his name is Austin and we all had to sing our names so he would know who we were.
weldd.gif (600×424)By the time choir is done we go to lunch, recess and then it is AE. We either stay outside for this class, like on Fridays or we actually have class. I am in Mr.Sutton's AE and we usually read. Sometimes we write a summary on the parts of the book we read or we learn how to organize. Today in AE we are going to work on a test we are doing in Mrs.Morris'. I like my AE because of my friends like, Piage, Baltazar, Christian, and Danny. But the day is not quite over yet.
Galapagos-Finches.jpg (800×512)After AE with Mr.Sutton I go to a very different teacher and class. I go to Mrs.Bradford for science. We do a lot of hands on activities. In that class we are currently learning about animal adaptations, like how all kinds of Galapagos finches are now different species ad how they adapt to their habitat. I almost forgot to tell you that we have a student teacher, Mr.Dagastani. He does a lot of the teaching so he can get practice for his real teaching job when he gets out of college. My final core class of the day is social studies. I have Ms.Kauffman or since she just got married, Mrs.Covert. Our class is really bad for some reason, maybe because we are all ready to go home, or maybe there are just to many friends together. We are learning about Russia and today we are going to compare the real story of Anastasia to the movie. We had to do a whole week of CMAS social studies testing or already did. I also have a lot of friends in that class like Taylor M., Lena, Christian, Lauren, Emily, and Leanna. Well, that is a typical day for me at Weld Central Middle School. GO REBELS!!

Soccer

481998.jpg (1920×1200)Soccer has to be one of, if not my favorite sport. I used to love basketball way more but there is something about soccer I will miss. I don't know if it is the open air, the running, the way you communicate with your team, or just the rush you get when you get the ball. With basketball I kind of feel like it is to hot, stuffy, or cramped. I love my team so much, and the coaches are great. I will never forget the first time I played my first game at home as a WCMS Rebel. The fans, the wind, the team, the ball, the action.

I wasn't sure if I was going to like the soccer season because none of like my best friends were i it, but I love it now. I have made friends with people I might not have even liked. I met and made friends with people that don't even go to the same school as me. Like, Emily, Mckenzie, and Madison from CCA. I also became friends with Jordan, Andrea, Alexia, Marina, and more.
trenirovki.po.futbol.jpg (900×450)Soccer isn't just about who you play with, it is about how hard you try and what decisions you make. If you don't play your hardest, then people will beat you, it is that simple. There may be better people than you, but that doesn't mean you are going to lose. When we played our last soccer game of the 2014/2015 year I was mainly against a very tall girl who was tough. We pulled out the victory, but if I had given up, I would have missed a lot of great opportunties.
6e3169d5f634e5d95047a15f8250ab3c.jpg (236×202)When you are out on the soccer field you have to ignore everything people are shouting at you, except for your coach. You have to get  over the pressure and make a choice. You can pass it, shoot it, dribble it, or kick it out. As a defender you either want to boot it up the field, kick it out of bounds, or get the ball and dribble. As a forward you want to dribble to the goal, shoot, or pass forward. As a mid-fielder (mid) you can choose any option, depending on where you are on the field. I think t is hardest to be a mid because you pretty much play all positions except goalie. You have to run up and down the field, throw it in, and run some more.
38822bab98ed369289ce26b1188cb23d.jpg (236×236)Soccer is a very physical sport where you can get beat up and beat others up. Yes, there are rules to keep us "safe" but they can't save you. Sure you cant shove, but you can use your body. Sure, you can't kick higher then your head, but people still do it. Sure, you can't trip, but some people don't care. At our last game the team played really dirty and would try to litteraly beat you up to get the ball. But, in soccer you have to be tough, that is the only way to score.
Soccer_quotes-8.jpg (1024×768)Even though the soccer season might have ended, that doesn't mean that I will just forget about soccer until next year.
A great person once said "Soccer may not be my profession, but it is my passion." I love that quote because barley any people get to grow up and play a sport they love as a job, but that does't mean you should just ignore the sport. I practice soccer after school in my dad's gym when I wait for him, just like I also practice basketball. I love soccer, not for the fame or glory, but for something else. I love just giving your all and sprinting up and down the field clearing your head from everything, but soccer, until your body is numb. I love forgetting my problems for maybe just a few hours, but they are gone.
soccer.jpg (800×600)Soccer is a lot more complicated than most people think. You do not just kick a ball in a goal, like in football, there are plays and situations where you do certain things. And there are all kinds of crazy rules like you can't kick to high, you can't either of your feet leave the ground when you throw it in, or stuff like that. You also have to run a lot in soccer, our coach told us you have to run about 3 miles an average game! I hope one day I can at least play soccer in college.
